- PRP is a procedure in which plasma rich in platelets & growth factors are separated from your extracted blood and injected into the areas of hair thinning
- Shower the morning of your treatment and wash your hair using your regular shampoo . Do not apply spray , gels or any other styling products.
- If you are taking any blood thinners , please let your doctor know.
- Please eat a normal breakfast , lunch-dinner the day of your PRP session .
- DO NOT touch , press , rub or manipulate the treated area (s) for at least 8 hours after your treatment . .
- Some patients may experience redness & swelling that may last for 2-3 days following your procedure .
- You can resume your regular headbath from next day of the procedure
- Avoid vigorous exercise , sun and heat exposure for at least 2 days after your treatment .
- Please do not hesitate to call our office if you have any questions or concerns regarding your PRP treatment or aftercare .
- Hair growth is subjective and may be noticed after several months from the procedure and depends upon the individuals response.
